Protect your lifeline; promote awareness and inclusion
- Saturday, January 21; drop-in training and action activities, 10 am to 4 pm
- The Arc of King County, 233 6th Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109
- Why? Because access to insurance, health care and services could change dramatically
This event is free, but please RVSP here so we can plan accordingly.
We will provide beverages and light snacks. Please bring a lunch if you will stay for the day. Read on for complete lineup of the day's activities.
YOU CAN ALSO TAKE ACTION NOW: The Arc has set up an online Lifeline Toolkit including fact sheets on the Affordable Care Act, and the outlook for Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income, as well as tips to engage members of Congress.
- According to estimates from the Department of Health and Human Services, repealing and not immediately replacing the Affordable Care Act is likely to have an unpredictable and messy effect on the insurance marketplace, jeopardizing the health coverage of the 20 million people who have gained it under the Affordable Care Act.
