Travel Eastside to Seattle? What are your public transit needs?

Metro and Sound Transit want to hear from Eastside bus riders and communities to help shape the future of transit service along State Route 520.

How to participate

Several major transportation projects and other changes over the next five years are likely to affect traffic flow through this corridor and into downtown Seattle.

Metro and Sound Transit are exploring several potential options to address this, including ways to connect riders to light rail at the University of Washington for a fast, reliable trip to downtown and providing Eastside communities with new transit connections to popular destinations like South Lake Union.

Routes that could be affected include Metro routes 252, 255, 257, 268, 277, and 311, and Sound Transit routes 540, 541, 542, 545, 555, and 556.
